Hi Reg,relly enjoyed your book from front to back.
Myself being on the soul scene since the mid seventies and still goin strong,can relate with everything in your book.A bit like a trip down memory lane and to present day in a sense.
It made me smile laugh and also cry in parts!

Hi my lil reg, your book was brill, I didnt put it down and read it in a day and got to bed at 3am! Your descriptions of the northern do`s made me feel like I was dancing beside you, which was great as I was too young for Wigan! I think anyone reading about your experience of losing your mum would feel a huge lump their throat. I am now a student nurse and hope that after reading your book I will be more understanding with relatives losing a loved one. Well done for a brilliant book. Love you Reg x x

Loved this book. Took me back to those good old days.I loved the way it epitomised the “family” we have in the soul scene, which still prevails today and how we use the music to help us through those bad times we encounter throughout our lives.
